Kelso Foot Clinic’s approach is to help you to feel better, from the feet up. Matthew Aplin, podiatrist and chiropodist, has been practicing for over a decade. Foot care has made a huge difference to many of Matthew’s patients’ lives. By taking care of your feet, Kelso Foot Clinic aims to improve your overall health, mobility and well-being.

Our bespoke podiatry treatments aim to diagnose and resolve minor foot ailments. This includes pain, growths and infections. We use an innovative technique for verruca treatment.

Our Services

Podiatry can offer a solution for people who have ongoing pain in their feet. It can also help unresolved pain elsewhere in their bodies.

Nail surgery

Kelso Foot Clinic offers nail surgery for patients with common, problem toe conditions. This includes ingrowing toenails or toes with damaged, distorted nails.

Routine foot and nail care

Podiatrist in the Scottish borders

Matthew Aplin, podiatrist and chiropodist, runs his clinic in Kelso, at the Kelso Health & Wellness building. Patients come from all around Kelso and more widely from across the region. Kelso Foot Clinic treats patients of all ages, from children up to the elderly. At all times in our lives, we must look after our feet.

Matthew offers home visits for those not able to travel to the clinic, for example his elderly patients and those who are less mobile. Pain-free feet can make an enormous difference to quality of life, and Matthew firmly believes that issues are best dealt with before they start to affect your ability to walk in comfort.

Home visits are available in Ednam, Stitchill, Makerstoun, Nenthorn, Smailholm, Roxburgh, Heiton, Sprouston, Eckford, Morebattle, Yetholm, Coldstream, Eccles and beyond.

For those new to podiatry, Matthew is happy to explain the benefits of the routine and one-off treatments available at the Kelso Foot Clinic. Just give us a ring or make an appointment. You can also refer to our FAQs for more info on what to expect.
