Kelso Foot Clinic is run by Matthew Aplin MChS BSc (Hons). He’s been a podiatrist in the Kelso area for over a decade.

 

EXPERIENCED PODIATRIST

Matthew Aplin is the owner of Kelso Foot Clinic and he’s been treating patients in Kelso and the Scottish Borders for over 10 years. He qualified in 2008 with a first-class BSc Hons degree in Podiatry. Matthew studied at New College Durham, affiliated with Sunderland University. Matthew has a membership with the College of Podiatry (also known as the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists). You’ll also find him listed with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Matthew has seen how podiatry can transform his patients’ lives. It really can make you feel better, from the feet up. Once you start attending regular podiatry appointments, your overall health, mobility and well-being will also improve. Matthew is passionate about delivering first-class care to all patients of Kelso Foot Clinic.

Matthew undertakes continuous professional development. Therefore, he is able to offer best practice in podiatry. He also likes to stay at the forefront of innovations in treatment. For example, Matthew is now offering an incredible verruca treatment: Swift therapy.

AWAY FROM THE CLINIC

In his spare time, Matthew is very involved with Scottish Tetrathlon. He organises competitions and arranges activity camps for 7-15 years olds. Matthew is married to Amber Aplin, who runs the Gentle Touch dental practice next door to Kelso Foot Clinic. They have three school-age children who compete both at local and national level in tetrathlon and laser running.
