Home visits

For patients not able to attend the Kelso Foot Clinic at Kelso Health & Wellness, we offer home visits. Good foot care is even more important for our housebound patients than it is for those more able to get out-and-about. Comfortable, pain free feet can improve your quality of life immeasurably.

Foot care for elderly & vulnerable patients

We offer home visits for the elderly and those less able to get out and about. It is incredibly important to take good care of our feet in later life. This will lower our risk of having a fall and reduces our risk of infection. It also helps to relieve pain. At Kelso Foot Clinic, we believe our elderly patients should receive the highest standard of foot care, so we offer podiatry services in the home.

Older people, their family members and their carers most often get in touch about corns and callus, verruca treatment, athlete’s foot, bunions, arthritis and generalised foot pain. Our aim at Kelso Foot Clinic is to offer our home visit patients reduced foot-related pain, maintain and improve foot function and therefore mobility, whilst also protecting skin and other tissues from damage.

Kelso Foot Clinic in care homes

We visit lots of our patients in care homes in Kelso. As for those living in their own homes, it’s essential that care home residents are given outstanding foot care. If residents have excessive pain in their feet, they will be less mobile. For overall health and wellbeing, pain-free feet are very important. Please get in touch with us to discuss this type of care for your relatives or, for care home managers, your residents.
