Kelso Foot Clinic is run by Matthew Aplin MChS BSc (Hons) and Ruth Mole BSc (Hons), podiatrists based in Kelso in the Scottish Borders. A podiatrist is also known as a chiropodist.

The human foot is a masterpiece of engineering. Its 28 bones are bound by 214 ligaments and supported by 38 muscles. It’s such a complicated part of your body. The foot works harder than any other body part yet it is often one of the most neglected. Matthew and Ruth can help you change that.

Our bespoke podiatry and chiropody treatments aim to diagnose and resolve minor foot ailments. This includes pain, growths and infections and diabetic foot care. We use an innovative technique for verruca treatment.

Podiatry services continue in Lockdown

Kelso Foot Clinic will be open as usual throughout Scotland’s nationwide Tier 4 restrictions. Podiatry is an essential health service and therefore Matt Aplin will continue to offer appointments in the clinic as well as home visits.

Re-opening from COVID-19

Kelso Foot Clinic has now re-opened for face-to-face appointments at our surgery in Kelso Health & Wellness. Matthew is also continuing with home visits for those patients who are shielding or not confident to come to clinic.

Podiatrist in the Scottish borders

Kelso Foot Clinic, podiatrist and chiropodist, runs its clinic in Kelso, at the Kelso Health & Wellness building. Patients come from all around Kelso and more widely from across the region. Kelso Foot Clinic treats patients of all ages, from children up to the elderly. At all times in our lives, we must look after our feet.

We offer home visits for those not able to travel to the clinic, for example our elderly patients and those who are less mobile. Pain-free feet can make an enormous difference to quality of life. We firmly believe that issues are best dealt with before they start to affect your ability to walk in comfort.

Home visits are available in Ednam, Stitchill, Makerstoun, Nenthorn, Smailholm, Roxburgh, Heiton, Sprouston, Eckford, Morebattle, Yetholm, Coldstream, Eccles and beyond.
